Článek popisuje embryologické a anatomické důsledky vývoje fasciálního systému trupu ve vztahu k možnostem regionální anestezie lumbální oblasti. S použitím literárních zdrojů, schémat, ultrazvukových vyšetření, a počítačové tomografie představuje koncept čtyř samostatných fasciálních kompartmentů v lumbální oblasti. Tento koncept může usnadnit porozumění blokádám v lumbální oblasti a zpřesnit indikace a postupy.

Fascial planes of the trunk in relation to regional anesthesia - part two: lumbar region
The article describes the embryological and anatomical consequences of the development of the fascial system of the thorax in relation to the possibilities of regional anesthesia of the lumbar region. Using literary sources, schematics, ultrasound examinations, and computed tomography, we present the concept of four separate fascial compartments in the lumbar region. This concept can facilitate the understanding of blockades in the lumbar region and refine the indications and procedures
