CSARIM awards: what is their meaning in the context of the fieldEditorial

V rámci XXX. kongresu ČSARIM (Brno, 19.–21. 9. 2024) byly předány tradiční ceny a ocenění vybraným lékařům i nelékařským zdravotnickým pracovníkům oboru anesteziologie a intenzivní medicína (medailonky oceněných osobností a anotace publikací si můžete projít na str. 192 tohoto čísla). S přihlédnutím k okolnostem prvního dokumentovaného podání anestezie v českých zemích (viz článek MUDr. Vetešníka v tomto čísle) a významné události 30. výročí pořádání národního kongresu ČSARIM byla nově ustavena Cena Augustina Göttingera. Ocenění určené pro významné osobnosti nejen našeho oboru a udělované nepravidelně při významných příležitostech. Schválení vzniku „Göttingerovy ceny“ předcházela diskuze na jednání výboru, kde byly ze strany iniciátorů předneseny argumenty k jejímu zavedení do existujícího seznamu ocenění ČSARIM. V související diskuzi zazněla řada názorů, které vedly ke vzniku editorialu s cílem se zamyslet nad smyslem udělování cen nejenom v ČSARIM, ale i v širším kontextu problematiky...
