Anaesthesia information management systems in the Czech Republic - Are they still just a calling of the future?Celková anestezie - přehledový článek

Anaesthesia information management system (AIMS) offers a wide range of benefits - automated record keeping, improved pre- and postoperative care and usage of clinical decision systems. Concerns about legal issues when using AIMS have not been proven. Although at least ten per cent of tertiary anaesthesia departments use some kind of AIMS in the developed countries, only three pilot implementation projects from different suppliers are in progress in the Czech Republic.
