V oblasti umělé plicní ventilace bylo mimo řadu původních prací patofyziologického charakteru publikováno i několik retrospektivních analýz, metaanalýz a in extenso byly zveřejněny také výsledky některých studií, které byly dosud publikovány pouze ve formě abstrakt.
