Doporučení Evropské společnosti regionální anestezie (ESRA good practice guidelines 2004 - how to avoid neurological complications) [1] se týká prevence neurologických komplikací místního znecitlivění. V dokumentu jsou detailně rozebrány jejich možné příčiny, stanoven postup při diagnostice a terapii, součástí je také připomenutí kontraindikací a preventivních opatření.
